Cashier Manager Position:  (full time at the Lititz location)
Esbenshades Garden Centers is now hiring a Cashier Manager for our Lititz location.  This position oversees all cashiers, as well as the courtesy counter, for our retail store.  The individual applying for this position must have a minimum of three years cash register experience and one year as an assistant or manager in customer service. 
The primary responsibility of this position is to be sure that the courtesy counter and cashier departments are functioning efficiently and effectively.  They will oversee all cashiers, ensuring that our customers’ checkout process flows quickly and smoothly, while providing the highest quality customer service.  The individual must be organized and detail oriented, must have the ability to perform multiple tasks with short deadlines.  The ability to coordinate and manage many cashiers (8 – 10) in a high paced, often hectic, environment is a must. 
Ability to manage and direct a multi-line phone system is essential.  Experience with Windows, Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, Outlook and other basic computer skills are a must.
This is a full time, year round, salaried position, averaging 45 hours per week.  Saturdays and occasional evening work is required during our busy seasons (spring and Christmas).   Our spring season will also require more hours, possibly as much as 55 to 60 a week.  Medical benefits, 410K options and paid vacation time are also offered with this position.
