LITITZ, Pa. – Esbenshade’s Landscaping was recognized with five awards at the 2007 Awards for Landscaping Excellence program, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association. The awards presentation was held on February 6, 2007 at the Landscape and Nursery Conference in State College, Pa.
The Awards for Landscaping Excellence program recognizes and honors the professions responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of professional quality residential and commercial landscape projects. The program also provides an educational arena for landscape professionals to view and learn from winning projects.
Esbenshade’s Landscaping earned awards in the following categories: Gold in the Residential $15,000 - $30,000 category for a projected titled “Garden for Pleasure and Work.”
Two awards were won in the Residential $30,000 - $60,000 category. Esbenshade’s took gold for a project titled “New Romantic Garden” and silver for a project titled “Garden for Dining and Relaxing.”
In the Residential Hardscape $30,000-$60,000 category, Esbenshade’s won silver for a project titled “Furman Residence” and honorable mention for the project titled “Pergola, Patio and Play.” All five award-winning projects are located in Lancaster County.
Greg Minnich, Esbenshade’s director of organizational development, who attended the awards program said, “As the program unfolded, I quickly realized that we’d won more awards than any other firm. We truly are a leader in the Pennsylvania landscape industry.”
Each project was submitted in December 2006 and underwent an extensive judging process including review of design, plant materials, quality of workmanship and appropriateness of detail.
