A new cultivar of Achillea millefolium, ‘Wonderful Wampee’, characterized by it long blooming habit, its vigorous growth habit, its compact growth habit and its bright clear pink flowers that fade to a light pink with consistent bloom color throughout the plant.
Large heads of rich pink florets June into August, maturing to apple-blossom blush pink. Vigorous bright green foliage with silver highlights. Compact, full habit.
Full sun. USDA Hardiness Zones 4 to 8; AHS Heat Zones 9 to 1.
USE
Perennial border and containers. Long-lasting cut flower, fresh or dried.
21" to 22” tall by 23" wide. Use 2 plants per square yard.
Adaptable to almost any soil with adequate drainage. Deadheading enhances appearance and encourages rebloom. Allow to dry between waterings. May be divided at any time to rejuvenate.
