Animal Repellents

To keep almost any garden safe and healthy from animals that enjoy eating it requires some kind of tactic of defense.

Deer

Moles & Voles

Sonic MoleChaser

Mole - Gopher repeller is the most humane and environmental friendly way of keeping gardens and lawns free of destructive ground rodents. Most underground rodents have poor eyesight, yet nature has given them a very acute sense of hearing and sensitivity to ground vibration. The unit exploits this sensitivity to produce a penetrating sonic sound of 300Hz over an area of approximately 16,000 sq. feet (1/3 Acre) at 8 second intervals.

The penetrating sonic sound and vibrating motor irritates burrowing rodents (moles, gophers and voles) and will send them scurrying away. Moles have tiny eyes which can sense light but little else. Their hearing is acute and vibrations from above bother them immensely. Moles are possessed of large digging forepaws which are ideal for moving large amounts of soil. Their thick, velvety coat allows them to move back and forth easily in the narrowest of tunnels.
