Camellia Flowered Balsam
Balsam is an old-fashioned Victorian garden favorite. Bright clusters of double camillia-like flowers come in white, yellow, pink, red, and purple.
Sow seeds in a sunny location with average soil after all danger of frost has passed. Keep soil evenly moist and well-weeded while plants are young.
Like its cousin Impatiens, Balsam is a tropical plant that likes rich, moist soil and a little shade in hot climates.
