Brightly colored foliage make Coleus a favorite for semi-shaded borders and patio containers. Easy to grow from seed.
Coleus looks its best in a warm humid location with bright, indirect light. Start plants indoors about ten weeks before transplanting. Use a finely textured seed starting mix. Set seed on top of the soil and press lightly. Do not cover seeds with soil. Keep soil moist until plants are established.
