A tasty variation on Sweet Basil, with a tempting lemony flavor blended with Sweet Basil's enhancing perfume. Like regular Basil, it is easy to grow. Use as a flavor treat in place of Sweet Basil with fish, cold summer soups, fruit salads, and Thai food. Grow with Cinnamon and Anise Basil for a complete range of unique flavors. Plant in a warm sunny location with rich, moist soil. Basil loves warm weather and does not begin vigorous growth until night and day temperatures have warmed in late spring. Start outdoors in late spring or indoors four weeks early for transplants. Cut individual leaves at any time as needed for fresh use. Remove flowers to extend the growing season. Dry or freeze for later use.
