Organic Lettuce, Parris Island Romain (Lactuca sativa)
Fantastic flavor! Broad upright leaves with a crispy mid-rib. If you like Caesar salad, this is the lettuce to grow. Cut when young for tasty baby-sized leaves.
Lettuce prefers cold weather. Select a location with full sun, or part shade in hot areas. Sow in early spring, fall, or winter in mild climates. Keep soil evenly moist for best growth. Thin regularly-lettuce does not like to be crowded.
