Hot Pepper Jalapeno
Early season variety with compact plants that grow well in containers. Produces and abundant crop of 3-4" pungent, medium-hhot green peppers that ripen to red. Perfect for pickling. Scoville Heat Units: 3,500-8,000. Packet is 0.30g.
Planting
Unless you live in a year-round warm climate, start seeds indoors eight to ten weeks before last frost. Keep soil temperature warm (75-80℉) for best germination. Harden off youn plants ten days before transplanting and plant outdoors in late spring.
Harvest
Harvest peppers at green stage or wait a few weeksk for a milder ripe-red color.
