Beehive inner covers are used between the top box & hive top, to add extra protection from the elements, as well as to serve as a barrier between the hive top & top box, making hive inspection easier, can also be used as a feeding board. The ventilation slot allows the inner cover to be used as an upper winter entrance and ventilation source. This inner cover features a deep rim on one side allows room for feeding pollen patties or fondant. A must have for any beekeeper!
