This product is excellent for seed starting or blending into a custom potting mix. It helps to loosen heavy soils and prevents compaction, ensuring optimal root growth. The white granular particles contain about 6% water and have a neutral pH, making them suitable for a variety of plants. Additionally, they hold nutrients and can retain 3-4 times their weight in water, promoting healthy plant development. Clean, odorless, sterile, and non-toxic, this lightweight substitute for sand will not rot or mold. However, due to its light weight, it may float to the top of potted plants.
