We have had this tree stand for 2 Christmas holidays and it is AMAZING. Here's why:1. Ease of use- No more "hold the tree while I tighten the screws" or "it's crooked, we need to reset it." 1 person holds it while the 2nd person just steps on the lever to tighten the claws until the bell rings.2. Sturdy- It is exceptionally sturdy - it fell out of the box while we were getting it down from our above garage storage. Fell 10 feet onto concrete and didn't crack or break.3. Tree size - We regularly put up a 9 foot tree and I can tell it could steady an even larger tree. This still seems amazing to us since the stand is only 6 inches tall.4. Tree set up time - it is significantly faster to set up our tree using this stand than other tree stands. It takes longer to get the tree off the SUV & into the house, than setting the tree into this stand.5. Smaller size to store - this tree stand is smaller than prior tree stands, so takes up less room in our limited storage space.

I fight with the ball and chain every christmas about getting the tree stand out and setup. Usually it's crooked or not in the stand properly. Let me say this stand is worth every penny. I know it's expensive but i've been through 3 stands in short time i've been putting my own tree up. I bought the XXL cause sometimes even small trees have big trunks. This thing could hold a Griswald tree no problem. i was able to mount my tree in minutes. I highly recommend paying up for this stand.

So far I love this stand! It holds a lot of water so I only need to add water every 2-3 days. I love that there is a pop up float that lets you see when it’s time to add water. It is also the most attractive stand I’ve ever had. Delivery was fast and Esbenshades had the best price on the Internet.

This tree stand is finely crafted, elegant in appearance and function, and is super easy to use.

$100+ bucks for a Christmas tree stand you ask...?I bought this product to use last year and we just put up the tree again for the 2020 holiday season . It was so easy that I dug up my old order so I could write a review. I'd happily pay twice as much as I did for this amazing stand. I have a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering. I have zero tolerance for crappy designs. I deeply admire a good design. This is, by far, the best designed stand I have ever seen.-You place it on the floor.-You stand the tree up inside of it.-You ask your partner to tell you when it is straight.-You step on the handle and pump it 5-10 times until the bell rings.-You're done.-Taking it down is even easier.I have a 9 ft. tree and it's so sturdy, it feels like it is nailed down to the floor. Don't look at any other stands. Don't think about it. Just buy it and you'll never have to dread this part of the holidays again!

Waited years for the old beat up artificial tree to end up in the land fill. Now the time has come, this year went and cut our own tree, but looked long and hard at stands so the experience would not be tarnished at home. This could not have been better. Everything worked perfectly....the water level bobber wold stick on occasion so next year I may drop some bb's inside. it is a capped cylinder. holds 2 1/2 gallons and you need it. The first few days the tree drinks water like its in the desert - a gallon or more a day. I also may rig up a funnel and hose setup for adding water but we'll see.

This is the best tree stand ever! I read the reviews and thought this is exactly what I need. I don't see how anyone could give it less than 5 stars. My husband went outside to bring in the tree. I put the cat upstairs. When I came down a minute later the tree was standing up straight in the stand! My husband did it by himself in seconds. He was as amazed as I was. He couldn't believe how easy and quick it was. This stand is the best. No one should think twice about purchasing it. It is worth every penny.

Overall, this is a great tree stand. I've tried several over the years, and this is certainly the easiest and most secure I've used. I currently have an 11 1/2 foot tree in this, with about a 5 1/2" diameter trunk. I think the only way it could be sturdier is if it had roots. A couple of points to be aware of:1. The final 1 or 2 pedal presses require a fair amount of downward force to engage it properly, i.e. get the "ding." If you have a big heavy tree, you might want to have one person holding the tree and another working the pedal.2. I took a star off because the water gauge doesn't work properly. Would be a great and helpful feature if it did, but it doesn't float properly and seems to get stuck in its cylinder. Given this, it doesn't accurately show the water level. I'd just say if you are going to add what could be a very helpful feature, make sure it is engineered to work.Despite this, I highly recommend this stand. Water gauge notwithstanding, it's by far the best I've ever used.

I purchased my first real Christmas tree this year. I researched the heck out of the different trees and the pros and cons to them. I also researched the stand I would use as well. I wanted the real tree experience to be great for my husband and myself. I didn't want any arguing or difficulty for either of us. After all my research I happily purchased the Krinner. My husband choked about the price but after we got it home and set up the tree he was so impressed. I love the water gauge and the bell lets you be confident in no over tightening or under doing it. I expect to get many years use out of this stand. It was worth every penny in our opinion. Just a note I ordered the larger size because it can hold more water and for the extra gauge and bell. Our tree is only 8.5 feet tall but I'm confident the tree has plenty of water available thus making it last much longer. Will purchase this again when mine wears out.
