Smooth white roots with attractive purple crowns. Both the roots and tops are delicious and provide and excellent source of vitamins and minerals. Enjoy roots cooked or raw. Very easy to grow.
Planting
Plant in full sun in early spring or fall in rich, well-drained soil with plenty of water. Turnips produce best flavor when they mature quickly in cool weather.
