Going into winter and hummers are migrating leaving the Anna's year around Northern California. So cutting back to making less sugar water and making fresh first thing in morning and last thing after dark. Have two, one in front and one in back, so one in full sun all times in daylight. Wide smooth mason jar is smooth inside without seams. The wire bail is strong, stays put, doesn't slide off the jar. Holds 5 ounces more than most feeders. The short jar is handy to keep it higher from cats, etc. Jar is clear smooth class. Most feeders have a seam around the bottom which is almost impossible to clean. Use a bottle brush and hot water never use bleach or soap unless prolific rinsing. The 5 metal flower ports are standard in the industry and last forever and do not rust. Each port has its own perch. The perches and the bottom are 2 separate parts for cleaning. Also makes perch cross-section have a seam where the top with flowers and bottom overlap, meet and seal. This gives the perch an oval cross section for a more comfortable grip and more secure in wind.

Holds a great amount of nectar and really easy to fill. Also very attractive & easy to hang with the fitting on top. I have one and bought another one for a Christmas gift for my mom.

Love the look… Hate the rust!
I love the look of these in the widemouth opening for cleaning but I have to keep replacing them every few months because I can't keep them from tarnishing even though I try my best to dry the tin underside, The inside of the plastic and the bottle rim. The older black ones were much better. I really wish they would fix this problem
