Gardening With The Master Gardner Wooden Garden Table
We brought this Master Gardner Elevated Garden Table to life by planting it with a mix of colorful florals and fresh herbs!
This elevated planter stands at a comfortable working height, making planting and harvesting easier without the need to bend or kneel. Its raised design is ideal for patios, decks or small outdoor spaces, and it also helps improve drainage compared to in-ground beds.
To get started, we filled the bed with three 44-quart bags of Esbenshade’s Potting Mix, creating a rich, well-draining foundation that supports healthy root growth for both herbs and flowering plants.
Our planting combination includes geraniums, coleus, calibrachoa and euphorbia for long-lasting color and texture throughout the season. These are paired with thyme, rosemary and sage—easy-to-grow herbs that thrive in similar conditions and are conveniently within reach for everyday use.
The layout balances function and design, with herbs placed for accessibility and annuals arranged to fill the space with continuous blooms.
With its compact footprint and elevated structure, this garden table is a simple way to grow fresh herbs, vegetables or flowers.
