Moonflowers are closely related to morning glories. Although it takes a longer and warmer season to blossom, it is also a vigorous grower. Large white flowers open at night with a perfumed fragrance. This seed packet weighs 3g.
Planting
Direct sow seeds in late spring in moist, well-drained soil when soil has warmed to 65-75℉. Moonflower grows best in a sunny location protected from wind. For earliest bloom, start indoors six weeks before last frost date. Tolerates poor soil and prefers drier conditions, but be sure to water during dry periods.
Note
For best germination, soak seeds in water overnight before planting.
