Organic Hot Pepper, Early Jalapeno
Jalapenos are the most versatile and widely used of the hot peppers. Produces an abundant crop of pungent hot green peppers that ripen to bright red. Use in almost all dishes, fresh, or cooked, for a bit of extra zing.
Start indoors eight to ten weeks before transplanting. Keep soil temperature warm; about 80 degrees Fahrenheight for best germination. Harden off the young plants about ten days before transplanting by setting outdoors on warm days during the day. Transplant oudoors in late spring after the nights have warmed. Plants will not begin to grow vigorously until temperatures have warmed.
