Coast of Maine Monhegan Blend Top Soil

Posted by JB on Sep 22nd 2020

We love Coast of Maine products and we love Esbenshades too. They are the best online garden center to shop from. The Coast of Maine Monhegan Blend Top Soil is "black earth," meaning it's premium top soil composed of organic soil, humus, and composted manure that won't burn plants. This soil is excellent for filling hole in the lawn and reseeding the lawn with grass seed. And it's great for amending garden soil. We dug three bags into our existing garden soil to improve the quality. We also added some Espoma Plant-Tone to the mix so there would be needed biology for the plants we replaced. It made the soil rich, loamy, and easy to work with.
