Dr. Apps began his quest for alternative color everbloomers 25 years ago. Starting with Stella and other lesser known plants possessing remontant characteristics, he made thousands of crosses. Finally, after numerous evaluations he achieved, 'Happy Returns', the lemon yellow everbloomer. A dormant diploid starts flowering extra early and continues to frost.
