Dahlia's are ideal for cut flowers, borders, and containers. They tend to bloom for long periods and few plants offer as much variety and showy flowers as the Dahlia. They do best in well drained, humus rich soils. For planting outside the Hardiness Zone it is imperative to dig up the tubers in the fall and keep them in a cool, dry place through the winter for the next year's use
