This straw mulch works perfectly in my garden to hold in moisture, so I don't have to worry about the soil drying out in this summer heat and can water less often. The tack holds the straw together, so that even in the garden patch I have near the river, where it gets very window, it stays in place.
Used over grass seed , also for runoff steep areas in yard,. It is compactly packaged. Delivery was quick . It sticks well after dampening with hose or rain.
