Description: The Wholesale Inventory & Product Development Assistant is a unique position that provides an opportunity to work in both an office setting and get away from the desk to work in our greenhouses. This position offers unique flexibility during slow seasons in the summer and winter months. Applicants interested in this opportunity should have a love for plants, while also possessing a strong skill set in office administration, particularly the use of Microsoft Excel. This position requires overtime during Spring and Fall months but will allow flexible reduced hours in the Summer (more details available upon request). Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage plant inventory with company software and verify database is correct by manually counting plants when needed.
- Assist Product Development & Marketing Manager in all aspects of our Garden Elements product line.
- Maintain accurate records in Excel database and confirm data in real time.
- Counting and organizing plants.
- Collaborate with Growing Team to ensure product is on time and available.
- Create inventory lists for verification when needed.
- Provide administrative support to Product Development & Marketing Manager.
- Provide administrative support for plant-related marketing.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to do duties assigned with a quick turnaround.
- Must be adaptable to changing priorities and varied responsibilities.
- Able to work with and communicate well with others.
- Ability to work well under seasonal stress.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Observe all company policies.
Education & Experience:

Any combination of education and experience that has prepared you to effectively provide administrative support in a fast paced, highly organized environment.
- Computer skills are necessary to be successful in this position.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook are required.
Time Requirements:

This is a year-round position with varied time requirement depending on the season.
- Seasonal (Spring and Christmas) Saturday work may be necessary upon request.
- Overtime in Spring and Fall, with flexible reduced hours in the summer while maintaining FT status.
