Pink Surprise Calendula Heirloom
Orange-apricot flowers tinged with pink, frilly, double flowers bloom from April through October in most areas. Calendulas may bloom less frequently in summer heat, but revive when cool weather returns. A cottage garden favorite with edible flowers. Attracts pollinators. Packet it 1g.
Planting
Sow outdoors after last spring frost in full sun and rich soil. For early season flowering, start indoors six to eight weeks before last spring frost. Water regularly until plants are established.
Note
Grows well in light shade in hot areas. Calendula frequently reseeds and reemerges in early spring.
