Perfectly formed 6" heads of buttery light green leaves. Tom Thumb is perfect in small gardens and containers. Each head is the perfect size for an individual salad. This seed packet weighs 1g.
Planting
Lettuce prefers cool weather. Give this variety some after noon shade during the summer months. Sow in early spring, fall or winter in mild climates. Keep soil evenly moist for best growth particularly during hot spells. Thin regularly; lettuce does not like to be crowded.
