Description
Tendersweet Carrot
Long, crisp, and sweet is the best description for Tendersweet. Roots grow up to 10" long and their strong tops make them easy to pull for harvest. Plant a row once a month to enjoy fresh carrots all season long. Packet is 1.5g.
Planting
Sow outdoors in very early spring in full sun and loose, evenly moist soil with plenty of organic matter. Before planting, loosen the soil to a depth of 12" to help the roots grow straight. Be patient! Carrots can be slow to germinate.
Harvest
Loosen the soil with a garden fork before harvesting. Cut off the green tops 1/4-1/2" from the top of the carrot, and rinse and dry the root before storage.
