New American Lawn
Are you frustrated with your lawn year after year? Do you continually have weeds and bare spots that just don’t seem to go away? Have you been applying the same products and never getting the results you want? If this sounds familiar, then you should know that there is a better way to care for your lawn. It is a revolutionary lawn care concept that Jonathan Green calls, “The New American Lawn Plan.” The New American Lawn Plan is a 4 step plan that will change the way that you care for your lawn…and for the better! It helps create the correct sub-soil conditions for the turf through use of our unique “soil foods”. Yes, SOIL foods! Once the sub-soil gets corrected, a healthy lawn, unhampered by repetitive problems like weeds and pale green colors, is the result.
Now is the time to apply the 4th Step:

Winter Survival Fall Lawn Food 10-0-20

Apply Winter Survival Fall Lawn Food from late summer through fall. For damaged lawns, apply in early fall and again 6 weeks later for a thicker, greener lawn. For best results, apply to a dry lawn before a rain or water in after application.
The Benefits:
Why should you integrate “soil foods” into your lawn feeding program? The benefits gained from the use of natural soil amendments include improved disease and insect resistance, better heat tolerance, and, most importantly, a biologically active soil. The New American Lawn “soil food” products (Mag-I-Cal Plus, Mag-I-Cal, and Love Your Soil) loosen hard soil, correct soil pH, and stimulate soil microbes, all of which allow soil to become more permeable and alive. Loose soil allows air, water and roots to penetrate more deeply into the soil. Proper soil pH levels insure the full release of lawn fertilizer nutrients to the grass plants. Enhanced microbial activity in the soil helps breakdown “trapped” nutrients that often never get absorbed by the grass. These three soil factors will create the right foundation for lawns to flourish year after year. As stated, The New American Lawn Plan deals with all of them!
Are you always fighting weeds, insects, and fungus in your lawn? These problems are, in many cases, symptoms of poor soil management. A healthy soil is the key to a healthy lawn. You can develop a healthy soil by feeding the microbes and earthworms in the soil with our natural “soil foods”. This approach is similar to the way we maintain our own health. When you have proper nutrition and exercise daily, you rarely need medication. Similarly, give the lawn the proper soil nutrition and you will create a healthy, attractive lawn that needs minimal pesticide treatments.
Using superior grass seed is critically important to a great looking lawn, too. Ask yourself, “What type of grass seed have I been using on my lawn?” If you have been using older cultivars and the cheapest grass seed mixtures on the shelf, then you will never achieve success. In order to achieve The New American Lawn, you need to seed with genetically superior grass seed, such as Jonathan Green Black Beauty. Remember, your lawn will never be better than the grass seed you plant. So, break the cycle of disappointment and failure this year by finally growing the lawn you deserve… The New American Lawn!
