A delicious addition to soups, stews and catsup, but perhaps most enjoyed rolled in flour and corn meal and fried. This easy to grow vegetable thrives on warm weather.
When and where to plant
Select sunny location and sow seeds after last frost and the ground warms. For earlier crop start indoors. Cultivate soil and enrich with vegetable food. Firm soil over seed.
Care
Keep soil moist, clean, and feed every 4 weeks.
Harvesting
Pick pods when tender and young. Remove over-ripe pods to maintain plants vigor.
