Purdy paintbrushes, need anything more be said?
The truth is that this set consists of relatively small brushes. I mostly use the largest one, which is still small for most serious tasks. However, these are Purdy brushes, some of the best paintbrushes on the market, and they do their job extremely well. If you're looking for smaller brushes for detailed jobs, finish work, trim etc. Then this is the perfect set. If you have a bunch of general painting tasks that need doing, then this set along with a good (Purdy!) 3"+ brush ought to do the trick.

I used a 2.5 inch angle Purdy Paint Brush for 10 years and used it a lot, I do a lot of painting around the house/garage and outside, I also do some volunteer painting for members of the family and friends plus for the gun range I belong to like the fencing and around the office area, the key to longevity with the Purdy Paint Brush is the proper cleaning of it, I use simple green full strength using just a little then thoroughly rinsing it out, for me it's the best, leaves the brush very clean and soft like it was brand new, by the way I only use water based paints but on rare occasions I use oil based polyurethane varnish then I clean the brush with mineral oil and after I use simple green for the final cleaning.
