Rainbow Blend Beets
Produces a stunning blend of delicious beets. Beautiful mixture of reds, white, yellow and striped beets that are perfect for canning, roasting or to use raw in salads. Use the tender stems and leaves to add an array of color to your salads.
When and where to plant
Select sunny location with loose, rich soil, and plant in early spring as soon as soil can be worked. Cultivate soil and enrich with organic matter. Make successive plantings at 3 week intervals. Firm soil over seed and keep moist.
Care
Keep soil moist, weed free and apply vegetable food every 4-6 weeks.
Harvesting
Thin beets when less than 1" in diameter and cook thinnings, top and all, "they're delicious." For tenerest beets, harvest when 1-4" in diameter.
