Broccoli Raab Spring Rapini
A delicious, nutritious and easy to grow vegetable. Tall branching plants with numerous slender flowering shoots originating from the main stem. This type of Broccoli has a longer harvesting season than the "heading" type. Tasty and nourishing fresh or frozen.
When and where to plant
Start seeds indoors or in a hot bed 8-12 weeks before last frost. Set plants out after last frost. Or, sow directly outdoors in sunny location after last frost. Cultivate soil and enrich with vegetable food and organic matter. Firm soil over seed.
Care
Water regularly, feed every 4 weeks and protect from insects.
Harvesting
Cut 6" below control head when buds are still tight.
