When and where to plant
Select a sunny location with light porous soil. Cultivate deeply and in early spring as soon as soil can be worked, repeating every 2-3 weeks until mid-summer. Fall planting recommended in mild winter areas. Sow seed sparingly, firming soil over row.
Care
Keep soil moist, weed free, and apply vegetable food every 4 weeks.
Harvesting
Delicious when young. Begin pulling when finger size.
