Diva Cucumber Seedless
'Diva' is an all female cucumber plant with large yields and superior eating quality. Compared to other popular cucumbers, Diva passes each test with flying colors. If offers dark green, spineless, semi-glossy fruits about 6-8" long. The skin is tender and the flesh is crisp, sweet and not bitter. A real winner for your backyard garden.
When and where to plant
Select a sunny, well drained location and sow seed in late spring when the soil is warm and all danger of frost is past. For earlier crop start indoors 4-6 weeks before your last frost, in peat pots, keeping seedling moist and warm. For best results, loosen soil with spade or for, fertilize with vegetable food and smooth with rake. Firm soil over seed and keep moist.
Care
Keep soil moist, weed free, and apply vegetable food every 4 weeks.
Harvesting
Pick at any size, up to 6-8" long and before the fruit color begins to turn yellow. Pick regularly for increased yield.
