Description
City Garden Lettuce Mix
An attractive mix of different lettuces in various shades of green and reds. May be used as baby greens by cutting back to 2" every three weeks; or for larger leaves, let grow to the 4-6" size. This is is very ornamental as well as tasty, so it may be used in the landscape or pots as well as the garden. Individual pellets can mature to 12" high and wide.
When and where to plant
Select a location in full sun or light afternoon shade. Cultivate and fertilize soil with vegetable food. If putting in pots, use 6" pots or larger with 3-4 pellets per 6", and use a medium weight potting mix with fertilizer already in it. May be planted early-to-mid spring with repeat plantings every three weeks until the weather gets warm and again in late summer for a fall harvest.
Care
Water lightly and regularly, but do not keep wet.
