Schedule Requirements
- First shift - 5-day work week, with an optional 6th day for OT.
- Mandatory overtime is built into daily schedule
- Weekly FT schedule averages 50–55 hours per week
- Rotating Saturdays required (Two Saturdays on, One Saturday off)
- Closed Sundays
- Labor Day is a required workday for this seasonal role
- PT schedule is Monday and Saturday
- Start times can be as early as 6:00am with one or two Mondays starting at 5:30am. Start times decrease by 30 minutes on Tuesday, and 30 more minutes Wednesday through Saturday. End times vary based on shipping needs. End times on Mondays and Tuesday can be as late as 6:00pm, and end times Wednesday through Saturday can range between 4:30pm and 5:30pm.
Position Summary
The Fulfillment Associate supports the daily operations of our E-Commerce Shipping Department. This role works closely with the Fulfillment Manager to ensure customer orders are processed accurately, packed securely, and shipped in a timely and cost-effective manner.
This is a fast-paced warehouse position requiring strong attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to make sound shipping decisions that prioritize both customer satisfaction and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and process customer orders
- Create pick batches and print pick sheets for warehouse staff
- Print shipping labels and prepare orders for shipment
- Verify accuracy of completed orders and serve as final quality check before shipment
- Determine the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods
- Execute proper packing techniques to prevent damage and reduce shipping costs
- Maintain organized and clean packing/shipping areas
- Keep packing stations fully stocked throughout the shift
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
- Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and management
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of warehouse, shipping, or packing experience preferred
- Forklift certification preferred but willing to train
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment preferred
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows & Office)
- Ability to quickly learn shipping software and warehouse systems
- Fluent in English
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable to changing priorities
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (average lift 30 lbs.)
- Ability to stand and work on feet for 8–10 hours (12 hours on Mondays)
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations
