Patiche Sunflower
Pastiche has pizzaz! The blossoms on this showy sunflower include include shades from gold to red, with 4-5" wide bicolor and tricolor heads. Branching plants grow to 5' tall. Winner of the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.
Planting
Sow in a location with full to part sun and average soil has warmed. Sunflowers are quite drought tolerant, but will grow shorter in harsher conditions. May be started indoors four weeks before last frost date. Keep evenly moist and well weeded until plants are established.
Note
Sunflowers are heat and drought tolerant once established. Keep flowers cut regularly. Pastiche blooms prolifically into the fall season when most annuals are spent.
