Description
Organic California Wonder Pepper
A favorite for home gardeners. Stocky plants with glossy, deep green leaves bear large crops of four to five-inch green peppers. Mature peppers ripen to bright red and can contain more vitamin C than oranges! Start indoors eight to ten weeks before transplanting. Keep soil temperature warm; about 80 degrees Fahrenheit for best germination. Harden off the young plants about ten days before transplanting by setting outdoors on warm days during the day. Transplant outdoors in late spring after the nights have warmed. Plants will not begin to grow vigorously until temperatures have increased. Harvest peppers at green stage or wait a few weeks for a sweeter ripe-red color. These seeds have no chemical fertilizers, no seed treatment. They are 100% open-pollinated seed, no hybrids and are 100% certified organically-grown seed.
