Great to use in the garden but, better for your garden to make its own.
Worm castings are a wonderful addition to any soil composition type, particularly soils which are lacking in organic matter which support a healthyã earthworm population. A gardener's ultimate goal should include amending your soil with copious amounts of composted organic matter annually and actual earthworms. Earthworm cocoons may be purchased through many vendors. Once you have established a soil rich in organic matter and earthworms, your garden will become its own self-sustaining earthworm factory. You must at all costs, avoid using synthetic pesticides which indiscriminately kill earthworms and many other beneficial life forms. I personally use this product as an adjunct to potting soil and seed starting media. My preferred ratio is 1 part castings to 3 parts potting soil/seed starter.
