For Deer
I mix it with water and spray on my plants - seems to work well. But, you need to respray after it rains. A lot less expensive at WalMart though.

All I can say it works... If ...
All I can say it works...If the squirrel smells it in my bird feeder. He turns the other way and leaves.....They have a sense of taste in which birds do not....

Works well against squirrels, but seems to wash off in the rain
Works well against squirrels, but seems to wash off in the rain. VERY strong! Be careful not to inhale when near an open bottle!

This is the best product ever
This stuff is fantastic. Like another reviewer I have tried a squirrel baffle - kept the squirrels out somewhat but they can figure out how to get around it, tried a squirrel proof bird feeder - didn't work well either. This stuff is great! A day after I put it in the food, Mr. Squirrel went up the pole and down on his usual spot in the feeder. Took a bite of food, I could almost see the grimace on his face as he dropped off the feeder - didn't even make his usual mess of spilling the food all over. He tried a couple weeks later - went up the pole, took a taste, went down the pole. It was too funny, wish I had a video. It Is VERY HOT to the touch. I bought some inexpensive disposable gloves to mix it up with. And the birds LOVE it. I did have to spill some out of the feeder on the ground to attract them at first but now they are there every day.

Very effective deterrent
This is the first item that has actually kept pests from my bird feeders. This works very well to deter squirrels and chipmunks, and the bottle lasts a long time. Handle the bottle very carefully. the formula is oil-based, does not wash off easily, and even a speck of oil on your hands will be excruciating if you touch your eyes after. I use gloves when handling the bottle.
