Carrying up to approximately 65 pounds, these sturdy spreaders feature an adjustable t-bar style lever control to change the rate of your spread with 20 settings. The tires are wide, rolling easily over outdoor terrain. These residential spreaders disperse material in a 20 foot width using an 8.2 inch impellor and contains an agitation system to keep the material moving. A steel rod is used as the linkage for the shut-off function, giving a smooth, solid, on/off to create a consistent flow of materialthrough the hopper. This rod will not bend or bind like a cable and has better longevity. Spreading rates may vary depending on the characteristics of the material in the hopper. Both styles come assembled requiring you to tighten only 1 screw.
