    missing the mulch covers

Posted by Thomas C. Leddo on May 15th 2021

I bought this earthbox kit back in Sept 2020 and just now took it out to get it set up for my tomatoes-first time user of this kit but recommended by my brother.Unfortunately I do not see a way to contact the seller on my past orders to let them know the kit was incomplete as it did not include the mulch covers as described in the content of the box. So I just now after going to 3 stores unsuccessfully-had to buy them on Amazon-so I would like to be reimbursed $13 as they were supposed to be in the kit. Thank you.

    Not good

Posted by Sgt On the Shore on May 9th 2021

Bought this with the trellis and stand. Stand instructions aren't good be ready to tie about twelve tiny thread knots for for trellis. grow box does Not fit well on the stand. Does not come with medium for growing. Dissatisfied from the start. First box said tomatoes. Stand instructions said NO top heavy plants like tomatoes.

    Good but could be better

Posted by AmazonaholicAmazonaholic on May 1st 2021

Tomatoes and sugar snap peas are doing well so far. Little concerned that the netting is too flimsy for tomatoes so we'll see how it goes. Ended up painting the stakes since they were just plain ugly. Overall a good buy, but could improve some things: 1. The pipe needs a removable cap. It's a mosquito magnet, so had put a makeshift cover on it. 2. Can't tell if it needs water. Have to use a dipstick into the pipe to gauge water levels. 3. Could be 2"ù deeper to match a competitors. 4. Colored stakes, 5. Also used landscape fabric to cover the bottom overflow hole and prevent mosquito larvae.Amazon no longer sells the staking system, so purchased the 7' one on the earth box website.
