    Earthbox vs Wind

Posted by Amazon Customer on Aug 10th 2017

I like the concept, and my two semi-determinate grape tomato plants grew very well. Unfortunately, the Earthbox has been blown over by the wind twice. I thought the problem was solved by removing the castors. It didn't help and the Earthbox was blown down again. We were leaving town and temporarily placed a full 46 gallon recyclying can behind it and a two foot tree trunk in the front. Since we needed the recycling can, it was replaced with a heavy bench topped with a 20 gallon garbage can filled half way with water. I hope the problem is solved, but the solution seems pretty extreme for something that is supposed to be so simple. Although, the instructions state that two tomato plants can be grown in the Earthbox, I think I'll plant one next year and skip the castors.

    easy, and grows superior plants

Posted by Catherine ParkerCatherine Parker on Jul 29th 2017

Picture speaks for itself. On the left, non earth box tomatoes. On the right, earth box. All plants from the same group of seedlings transferred at the same time. It's quick, easy, and grows superior plants.

I planted 4 sweet pepper plants in one box

Posted by Eva C Maddox on Jun 28th 2017

I planted 4 sweet pepper plants in one box. Peppers are way small. Next year, will plant no more than 2. Tomato plants LOOK beautiful, but are producing very few tomatoes. Disappointed

Missing items and disappointed to have to wait for reorder.

Posted by Kathleen Fedele on Jun 19th 2017

I received my order yesterday and was disappointed to find that I was missing the fertilizer, dolomite, and covers. So now I must wait for the reorder to arrive. Hopefully, I won't have to wait too long. I must admit that I love the eggplant color.

    Best container for patio gardens

Posted by Ester on Jun 18th 2017

Grow the best plants with a better yield. Earth boxes are the best for container gardening-especially for apartment balconies. The casters allow for easy moving of plants
