Amazing! Great way to grow tomatoes on the patio.
I purchased the EarthBox to try my luck with tomatoes on my patio this summer. All I can say is AMAZING!I planted one Champion tomato plant and three bell pepper plants. The tomato plant is huge. I have easily picked 100+ tomatoes to date. It is mid September and the plant is still producing. The pepper plants are producing, but they never got very big. The tomato plant just got too big and over shadowed the peppers. I absolutely love this planting system. Once it is set up and planted just keep the water reservoir full and you are good to go.I am so impressed with the EarthBox I bought a second one for next season. I also bought the staking kit and a self watering system and a replant kit.

Does what it should
Great design. We grew strawberries. Best growth we've had in our multiple tries.

vegetable and herb garden
Planted some peppers, Italian parsley, and lemon thyme. All but one parsley seem to be doing well. Water inserted through provided tube did not seem to reach one spot.

Earthbox vs Wind
I like the concept, and my two semi-determinate grape tomato plants grew very well. Unfortunately, the Earthbox has been blown over by the wind twice. I thought the problem was solved by removing the castors. It didn't help and the Earthbox was blown down again. We were leaving town and temporarily placed a full 46 gallon recyclying can behind it and a two foot tree trunk in the front. Since we needed the recycling can, it was replaced with a heavy bench topped with a 20 gallon garbage can filled half way with water. I hope the problem is solved, but the solution seems pretty extreme for something that is supposed to be so simple. Although, the instructions state that two tomato plants can be grown in the Earthbox, I think I'll plant one next year and skip the castors.
