Disappointed.
Planted only two tomatoes in this box. One died and the other either had too much water or not enough. Not sure how you can tell when it is time to add water since the plants are covered up with black plastic. I own other self-watering planter boxes which work much, much better. Very disappointed.

Great concept and works to perfection!
This was a gift to my Son-in-law after he got one for me last year. Once he saw the results that this produces, it was a no brainer that these when setup correctly are a great way to grow vegetables. No weeds, easy to keep watered and plants love this and is very easy to place and move if needed. I will be getting at least one more for next years season.

Picture does not match description. No red cover.
Love earthboxes! They grow great veggies. Be warned though that the picture does not match the Description. You DO NOT receive a red mulch cover, as shown in the picture. It's to bad because I was looking forward to trying red for tomatoes.

I was given 2 of these boxes this year from a friend - After trying them out -- I love them!!!!My vegetables grew like crazy - Especially cucumbers. The only downfall - is that they require watertwice a day when the weather is hot so if you vacation during this time - someone has to care for them.VERY satisfied with purchase
