Calabrese Broccoli
A delicious, nutritious, and easy to grow vegetable. Tall branching plants form compact central heads. After the main head is removed, smaller heads will continue to develop over a long season. Popular fresh or frozen.
When and where to plant
Start seeds indoors or in hot bed 8-12 weeks before last frost. Set plants out after last frost. Or, sow directly outdoors in sunny location after last frost. Cultivate soil and enrich with vegetable food and organic matter. Firm soil over seed.
Care
Water regularly, feed every 4 weeks and protect from insects.
Harvesting
Cut 6" below central head and when buds are still tight.
