I love these lights! I originally got them for outside but where the plug is on these lights wouldn't allow for it. These lights are not a single strand.I also have an iPhone and I did the easy set up once the lights were on the tree and it was quick and easy. As you can see from the video, there is no reflection, etc as the instructions say.I also bought the Twinkly music. It's a USB device so I plugged it into the back of my TV. Once it was set up according to instructions, music became an option for me in the Twinkly app.If you're curious as to how many lights to purchase, go to the Twinkly app and you can put in the height for your tree and it will tell you how many lights to use.The website said for a 6ft tree, I needed 450. My tree is 6ft tall and only 2.67 ft in diameter so it's considered a slimmer tree. I think I have plenty of lights.

Fantastic operation! Only received 4 stars because improper packaging resulted in a broken plastic wire sheath on the cable. Instructions are also incomplete, such that online research was needed, as well as several HOURS for updating firmware and successful tree mapping.

A little pricey? Sure. But, if you want the coolest tree ever that will amaze friends and family, put these in your cart now!I just wish I would have gotten the 400 string instead of 250. Each LED is like a pixel. So the more you have, the higher the "resolution" your tree will be. I put 250 on a 5 ft tree, and it is nicely covered. But, the effects would be even better with more lights. I'll be buying more throughout the year for next year's tree!Note: be sure to get all of the same kind. You can't pair the rgb with the rgbw.

I already knew the product was great. The seller went above and beyond for us. We had to change the order (needed more). They caught it before it went out to save us all the exchange trouble.

Overall, it's cool to be able to change the lights and have so many options for patterns and colors. Before buying, just be aware - First, this is NOT one continuous strand of lights. It splits in the middle and goes out like a T. I bought this for my staircase so I had to run the cord halfway up my stairs and then start wrapping one string from the middle to the top, and the other string from the middle down. Second, this is really not made for linear use (staircase, palm trees, etc). Most of the patterns do not work and look weird since this is made for a Christmas tree. However, the random blinking, fading, and color options all look ok, so it's fine. Also I read reviews that mentioned mapping issues. I could NOT get the mapping to work, but again, I think the mapping is for a Christmas tree not a staircase. I do really wish they would resolve those things and this product would be PERFECT.

The programmable aspects of the lights is great.

Totally was not excepting these light to be as awesome, they really bring any Christmas to life, didn't even need the decorations,My kids loved them!! Pricey but worth it!

Install was a littler iffy, may be because my router is trash but once it got setup, amazing!
