Aspects Hummzinger Excel Capacity Hummingbird Feeder (16 oz)

Great design. Easy to fill and clean.The hummers love it and the nectar level is out of the bees' reach. I've been filling them with 12 oz. of nectar with perfect results. Will try one with 16 oz. next filling to see if the nectar level is still out of the reach of the bees.The buzz of the easily agitated Africanized bees is much louder than regular bees. The angry buzz recruits swarms of bees into the area, driving away the hummers and me.

The flat saucer-like shape allows hummbingbirds to look freely in all directions. And we can easily watch them. The cylinder shape feeders are lovely, but block the birds' view and our view of them.Easy to clean, and in our high winds, the saucer shape is more stable than the taller cylinder that catches the wind and whips around more easily.

I use it to feed my hummingbirds syrup on my patio. The hummingbirds in my yard come to it regularly twice daily to feed. I change it every three days so the syrup doesn't grow things. I gave one to a friend as a housewarming present. It washes in the dishwasher. I have four so i can have two up at a time and two being washed. Works very well for me. better than some I bought that aren't bright red.

The media could not be loaded.  I love my hummers....my picture of them on my Hummzinger feeder at sunset is one my faves....at first years ago when I first purchased them I wasn't so sure that my little friends would like them but after a few days they were fighting over the feeders...I use an old round tip electric toothbrush to clean the sugar residue off of them ...they are a breeze to clean...they also love to perch and this allows them to see other hummers easily....I highly recommend them...they last forever....

Easy to use. Remember the 4:1 ratio for homemade nectar: 4 parts sugar, 1 part water. I make a big amount and store it in the fridge.This feeder is great. I have the bee guards on the ports so the only visitors to the feeder are the hummingbirds.Make sure to change the nectar every other day in summer or it will go bad and that's not good for hummingbirds. I have a few feeders to make switching a breeze. When one has to be changed, I fill up the one in the house, bring it outside, hang it after taking the one down that has to be washed. I keep 2 quarts of home made nectar in the fridge in a pitcher so all I have to do is pour it into the feeder, replace the cover and go hang it outside.

So far so good. Feeder was just delivered this morning. It's bigger than it looks on the product page, which is a good thing. The design is very simple, super easy to take apart and clean which is extremely important if you don't want to spread bacterial infection to humming birds that feed at your feeder. All parts easily accessible to clean. The hanging post screws into a brass thead nut embedded in the feeder so your not screwing the post into plastic theads like other feeders have. Plastic threads will wear out or break sooner than later so I was happy to see Aspects added this little detail. The feeder features a built in ant moat; SO HANDY!!! Why not 5 stars? The ultimate test is yet to come: is it really bee-proof or even bee--unfriendly? I have chucked out several humming bird feeders that turned into bee feeders in short order. Other sites brag that this feeder is bee proof. We'll see. But so far I like the large reservoir, simple design, easy access and small but thoughtful features of this humming bird feeder. If it works dissuading bees, I will use my other disgarded humming bird feeders to provide water to the little guys. Update to come...UPDATE:I've had my feeder for almost 3 weeks now and Hummers have been coming to feed. Also...no ants and no bees. So I'm changing my review to 5 stars because this item has now met all the criteria I've been trying to find in a humming bird feeder: simple design, easy to clean, attracts Hummers, dissuades ants and bees.Update to the update:Love this feeder so much I bought a 3rd one. I may have to buy more because Hummers got the memo and my yard is crowded with humming birds now. I just wish the feeder was a little less expensive. But the main reason I am so happy with this product is it keeps need and wasps out! Oh they still come: I often see one or two crawling around the feeder. Somehow they know there's yummy nectar inside. But...they can't get in to get the nectar and they soon loose interest. The ant most doesn't really work for me because I live in Southern Arizona and any water placed in the moat quickly evaporates. I think I may put a little cooking oil in the ant moat but I need to check with Bird Specialists to ensure it won't harm the hummers.Anyway, this feeder has worked extremely well for me and I hope it will for you too.

One of the best hummer feeders on the market.The design allows excellent viewing of the birds, and also allowsthem to have better viewing of potential rivals and predators.Super easy to clean and fill.The capacity is limited due to its design.I gave it 4 stars because one of three we own has an off-centerhook radius that causes the feeder to hang at an angle.

Best hummingbird feeder on the market. I have several. I feed approximately two dozen hummingbirds from April to October. I have also purchased this item as a gift. Great at attracting the hummingbirds. Easy to use.

Love!!! Hummingbirds love it and will also sit and hang on it at times. Note this is bigger than I thought. I need to be more aware of sizes when I buy.
