This product does what it states it would. Keeps the squirrels from eating bird food while not effecting the birds

    It works for me

Posted by Ellis on Mar 14th 2018

It works. I mix 12 cup each of peanut butter, lard, and corn meal, then add 1-12 cups of sunflower seeds and thistle, so it'a good bit and lasts a week. Then I add about 2-12 tablespoons of the pepper sauce to the mix. The soft lump goes in a wire feeder that extends out from the deck. The birds love it..Every spring the young squirrels try it out, but they end up wiping their mouths on the deck. After that, they sit and look but don't try again. It's not a nice way to handle the squirrels, but we have a lot of them, and they clean out the bird food in minutes. We've never found a feeder they couldn't defeat. If you use it, be very careful to scrub your hands and don't touch your eyes.

    Works perfectly

Perfect to use for those birdfeeders that are supposed to be squirrel proof but the squirrels don't know they are and get in anyway. The squirrels will leave the seed alone if you mix a little of this into it. The birds don't notice the taste. I recommend buying squirrel food for both birds and squirrels for use on the ground or a small table. The squirrels then have their own to eat and share with the birds. Birds like the sunflower seeds that often come with the squirrel food.

I do like this product and have ordered another bottle

Posted by Sherrill on Dec 12th 2017

I do like this product and have ordered another bottle. However, the squirrels LOVE this HOT sauce. You do need to be sure and wear plasticrubber gloves and keep away from face. I know that if I get a full whiff in my nose I'll sneeze for a while after. Good product if you want to give your wild birds a treat.

    Squirrel Be Gone!!

Posted by TJOHN on Nov 23rd 2017

It worked!! I watched as Mr. Squirrel took one peanut and he ate no more. I used this on both peanuts and shelled sunflower seeds. What I love about the product, is that you can add extra sauce to really spice it up. I also purchased Cole's Hot Meats, but it wasn't quite hot enough for my persistent squirrel. The birds, on the other hand could care less...and now they have plenty to eat. Be sure to wear disposable plastic gloves when working with the hot sauce.
