Durable 20+ years. High quality. Food grade. Almost fail proof if follow easy instructions precisely. Great support from other growers on social media andearthbox.com.A+ customer service from manufacturer. Casters make standard size EB easy to move w hand-truck.Add this to right plant right location, right season as per gardening book for your area. Just because local stores sell it doesn't mean it's suitable for your plant zone.We have 20+ EBs. Bought 20011. Those bad reviews I read here show what happens when we don't follow instructions.This is scientifically balanced system. If you use the wrong potting mix or you fail to pack the wicking chambers, for example, it's user error.Only get EB growing advice from EB growers. These function very differently than other pots.

Easy to grow for a first timer
The media could not be loaded. Love the ease and simplicity of the product. I've never grown anything in my life. (64 yrs old) and because of Earthbox I'm growing six hot pepper plants. I love it.
