In addition to keeping unwanted weeds out, they help keep water and nutrients in, all while insulating your EarthBox and protecting it against the elements. This reversible mulch cover is sized just right for both 1st generation and 2nd generation (manufactured after 11/2005) EarthBoxes. Once in use, these covers are good for an entire growing season. Two-sided for any climate--most climates will use the black side up, but if you live in a climate where you normally have sustained temperatures over 85 degrees during the peak of your growing season, we recommend using the white side up. Unique and functional, our mulch cover insulates, stops weeds and conserves water. Intended for one time use. Includes 2 b/w reversible mulch covers.
