This is a SOIL SCOOP not a shovel

Posted by John S on Aug 29th 2017

Works perfectly as intended for SCOOPING SOIL, Perlite, Pete moss, sand out, etc. of the bag and placing it in a pot - just like the photo shows. I'm actually laughing myself silly reading the bad reviews of these fools that think its for digging weeds and rocks up out of the yard and breaking it. I swear some people just have no common sense.

    Perfect for scooping potting mixes

Posted by Nancy Grace on Aug 25th 2017

Where has this little scoop been all my life?! Sometimes a hand trowel just isn't the right tool when you're transplanting, but this is the right one. It's better than using a small pot or cup, and better than using a trowel to scoop potting mixes or other materials. If you do a lot of container gardening, you'll love this.

Really good scoop. Wish I bought more than 2. For soil, peat moss, fertilizer, pea gravel, etc...I ilusually use an old plastic dish for these things. This scoop is very nice in your hand, scoops and empties nicely. Very hearty grade of plastic.

This Fiskars Fiber Composite Soil Scoop (7068) is so comfy and handy for my arthritic (and fibro) self that I would give it 8 stars if I could. The handle offers a better gripping surface, and sometimes I use two hands when needed. I am pleased i purchased it!

    Sturdy multi-purpose scoop

Posted by Eugenia on Aug 7th 2016

This product is intended for use as a soil scoop. However, I have found a different application fro it in my household. I have an old cat with kidney issues and he uses his litter a lot. I have 2 litter boxes for a single cat that are cleaned, emptied, washed a refilled daily so kitty cat have a clean place to pee in. It was becoming labor intensive to left a big bag of littler twice a day in order to refill that cat litter box. So I decided to use this soil scoop and scoop out litter from the littler bag (or container) more efficiently. There is less dust and definitely less manual labor and less likelyhood of straining my back by lifting a heavy cat littler bag. My scoop actually has the entire handle in orange color and it gives it very attractive look. I am very please I made this purchase.
